I hope you have all had a relaxing break and are ready to enjoy a jam-packed term full of new, fun and exciting things to learn. You might like to read through the Term Overview with your child to let them know some of the things we will be learning about this term.
As part of our floating and sinking unit we will need some clean, recycled items that the children can use to make boats. We are looking for thinks like milk bottles, egg cartons, cereal boxes, lids of glass jars, ice-cream containers etc. Please send in your recycled items in the first and second week of term.
This term we are starting to integrate into the Year 1 area at lunch to get ready for next year. We will gradually eat in the Undercover Area and play in Area 1, starting in Week 2.
If you would like to help our developing Prep readers, please see the tweet posted by @StBernardines for more information.
Next week is World Animal Day and to celebrate we will have a very special visit from one of the vets from Park Ridge Animal Hospital. They will teach us about caring for animals and what vets do to care for them.
